Job Summary
The Regional Fleet Manager oversees the full lifecycle of all vehicles within the region’s fleet. This includes budget planning, acquisition and preparation, title and registration, repairs and maintenance, telematics, fuel management, and vehicle decommissioning. The role requires close collaboration with designated fleet contacts at each location and a strong focus on delivering continuous improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the Regional Fleet Manager plays a critical role in implementing the company’s driving and fleet safety policies, providing reporting and guidance on driver performance and behavior.

Essential Functions
1. Manage fleet volume levels by coordinating with Operations Leadership, Fleet Leadership, and the Fleet Management Company to align with hiring and replacement needs while maintaining optimal utilization.
2. Maintain accurate, real-time vehicle pipeline reporting, including status updates, delivery timelines, and supply chain issues.
3. Ensure timely, cost-effective repairs and maintenance across the fleet.
4. Oversee pre-rollout vehicle preparation to meet company specifications (graphics, shelving, telematics, etc.).
5. Liaise with fleet partners to ensure quality and timely work; escalate issues promptly when deadlines or quality standards are not met.
6. Take ownership of incident and accident management, ensuring compliance with protocols and coordination with insurance and repair partners.
7. Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting on telematics data, overdue maintenance, recalls, and safety metrics.
8. Ensure all vehicles are properly equipped with current tags, registrations, toll devices, and fuel cards.
9. Manage driving lists, MVR reporting, insurance eligibility, and related data processing accurately and on time.
10. Hold vendors accountable for substandard, defective, late, or non-compliant work and deliveries.
11. Proactively source new vendor relationships and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost savings.

Minimum Requirements
· Valid U.S. driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional office environment
· 5+ years of experience managing vendors, leading teams (with or without direct authority), developing and analyzing reports, and optimizing processes
· 2+ years of fleet management experience strongly preferred
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
